Have you noticed the extraordinary natural beauty around you when you visit The Legacy Trail? The Friends of The Legacy Trail has created an attractive way to help you to view, understand and appreciate the native plants and Florida ecosystems that you are passing through.

Two new large, empty frames were recently installed that direct your view to the beautiful and important views of the flora and fauna in Oscar Scherer State Park, which borders The Legacy Trail. Stand back and just admire the view or activate the QR codes on your phone that are on the frames, and on the areas where you stand to look through them. The QR codes will take you to two web pages that show you photos and information on the area and all of the flora and fauna that you can see there. They also discuss the important work that’s being done in these areas to conserve these plants and animals. The frames are located .25 north and .3 miles south of the entrance to Oscar Scherer State Park.
